STANDARD INSURANCE: (Compulsory)
Additional NZ$14.00 per day, payable at depot at vehicle pick up.

Hirer must pay for the first NZ$2000.00 of any unrecoverable damage to the Camper, any other vehicle or property. "This is the Bond" and will be charged at the commencement of the hire and will be refunded at the completion of the hire when all conditions are met. This NZ$2000.00 applies to each and every separate accident the vehicle may be involved in, including forced entry and resulting loss or damage.

PREMIUM INSURANCE: (Optional)
NZ$28.00 per day, this amount (NZ$2000.00) can be reduced to NZ$250.00 and windscreen glass will be fully covered.

General Conditions applicable to all vehicles

We also reserve the right to deduct NZ$100.00 over and above the NZ$2000.00 bond for any of, or multiples of the following:

1. Camper returned in "unreasonably dirty" condition.
2. Portaloo not emptied, cleaned and sanitised.
3. Overdue returns beyond the agreed time, plus the daily rental rate.

There will be no refund for vehicle returns before the due date, or unused rental days.
In the event of mechanical failure or major accident rendering the vehicle unserviceable and no alternative vehicle is available, Lang AutoService Ltd's liability will be to only refund those actual lost rental days.

These rates include insurance, tax and kilometres.

Additional charge:
Road user charges. A Government imposed tax on all Diesel Vehicles currently NZ$33.00 per 1000km. Payable at the completion of hire. (The average hirer will travel 200km per day.) This charge is subject to change due to possible changes in Government tax rates. This tax does not apply to Petrol vehicles.

Late pickups:
If for any reason you cannot pick up and commence the hire on the first reserved day, please contact us to arrange another date and time. We cannot hold reserved campers beyond 48 hours of the reserved date. Failure to advise may result in the termination of the hire and loss of booking deposit.

Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage.

Driver Requirements

All drivers must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of two years driving experience and hold a current drivers licence of their own country or alternatively hold an international drivers licence.
